Job summary

ABM is seeking an EV Charging Station Technician to perform on-site repair and maintenance of EV charging stations for a dedicated client across multiple sites in the metropolitan area. The role requires independent work, strong electrical background, and the ability to troubleshoot complex charger systems.

Ideal candidates understand AC/DC conversions, meters, and chargers from ABB/Alpitronic/ChargePoint/Delta/Helios/Siemens, and can communicate effectively with customers.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience servicing electrical power equipment in the commercial or utility energy field.
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety requirements, including LOTO, Arc Flash, JHA/JSA, etc.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical subject matter expertise and accurate diagnostics per eMobility standards.
• Follow repair manuals, service bulletins, and debrief clients after service.
• Document work orders, parts, warranties, and close-out with customers.
• Communicate with customers’ network services to ensure complete scope and safe operation.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and upgrades on EV chargers from Level 2 to DC Fast Chargers.
