Pearce Services is seeking a skilled EV Charging Field Service Electrician to repair and maintain EV charging stations regionally. The role requires independent field work, adherence to safety protocols, and timely completion of service orders.

Key responsibilities include testing, troubleshooting, and upgrading chargers from Level 2 to DC Fast, using CMMS to document work, and coordinating with schedulers to ensure on-time completion. English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Electrical – Journeyman level certification required.
• 2+ years’ experience servicing electrical power equipment.
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using CMMS to generate and track site work.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades to EV charging equipment (Level 2 to DC Fast Chargers).
• Conduct insulation and thermal imagery testing, torque tests, and performance evaluations.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and locate ground faults.
• Coordinate with Planning/Scheduling to meet work orders and maintenance schedules.
• Review manuals/drawings for proper service and maintenance of equipment.
• Conduct in-field preventive and corrective maintenance and document work orders.
