Job summary

TA Dedicated in Thomson, GA is seeking a Dedicated Account Leader to manage driver support, load planning, dispatch, and customer service. You will collaborate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to deliver safe, reliable transportation and high customer satisfaction.

The role focuses on daily operations, fleet utilization, issue resolution, safety compliance, and achieving financial and operational goals. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Transportation and/or Logistics.
• Experience as an Account or Customer Service Manager.
• Knowledge of dedicated transportation operations, FMCSA, and DOT regulations preferred.
• Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with customers and teams.
• Excellent communication handling with ambiguity and change management.
• Intermediate MS Excel and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support drivers and operational staff.
• Plan, coordinate, and dispatch dedicated fleet operations.
• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Monitor load planning, miles driven, and backhaul opportunities to maximize utilization.
• Assist with billing, payroll, and expense management activities.
• Resolve service issues and customer concerns promptly.
• Monitor equipment maintenance schedules and fleet readiness.
• Coordinate driver onboarding, training, and development.
• Provide feedback to improve employee performance.
• Ensure DOT, OSHA, safety standards and policies compliance.
• Negotiate transportation rates and coordinate with carriers.
• Review invoices and vendor payments for accuracy.
• Monitor account performance and support profitability goals.
• Conduct customer reviews and support account growth and retention.
