Job summary

J Rose Enterprises is seeking a Class A CDL truck driver to run dry-van freight across Southern California, Phoenix, and Las Vegas markets with a steady, year-round workload.

You will operate drop-and-hook loads within an established network, prioritizing safety and reliability while maintaining regular home time.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 6 months tractor-trailer experience.
• Must meet all DOT safety, background, and drug/alcohol screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Transport dry van freight between Southern CA, AZ and NV markets as scheduled.
• Operate drop-and-hook loads within an established freight network.
• Maintain safety and reliability, ensuring on-time deliveries and proper load securement.

Pay & Compensation

• Weekly Earnings: $1,200 - $1,500 average weekly pay
• Mileage Pay: Competitive cents-per-mile (CPM) paid on all miles (loaded and empty)
• Volume: Average of 2,300 to 2,500 miles per week
• Stability: Consistent miles and steady, year-round freight
• Onboarding: Paid orientation included

Home Time & Schedule

• Home Time: Home weekly with a guaranteed 48-hour reset
• Run from Southern California to Phoenix, AZ to Las Vegas, NV markets and back and forth
• Consistency: Predictable scheduling, dispatch, and a stable workload

Job Details & Equipment

• Freight Type: Dry van, 100% no-touch freight
• Operation: Drop-and-hook loads within an established freight network
• Equipment: Late-model Kenworth, Freightliner, and International tractors
• Safety: Well-maintained fleet focused strictly on driver safety and reliability

Additional Benefits

• Supplemental Pay: Detention and breakdown pay at $16.00 per hour

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
