Job summary

American Cruise Lines seeks deckhands for a 28-week shipboard assignment in the United States. You’ll ensure safe voyages, assist the Captain and crew, and provide guest services aboard ships across itineraries.

Pay ranges from $1,000 to $1,400 per week with bonuses; travel, room and board, uniforms, and training are provided. The role requires full-time availability, 12-hour shifts, and adherence to safety and grooming standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.

Responsibilities

• Handle lines, gangways, anchors and marine equipment under guidance.
• Perform exterior cleaning, line handling, and logistics support; assist in steering.
• Stand gangway and deck watches including security, maintenance and passenger assistance.
• Load/unload guest luggage and ship stores; assist with daily logistics.
• Clean exterior decks, verandas, windows and marine spaces.
