Job summary

American Cruise Lines is hiring deckhands for the 2026 season. This temporary on-board role lasts up to 28 weeks, with 7 days per week duty and around 12-hour shifts. You will support ship operations, guest safety, and service while representing the brand.

Wages range from $1,000 to $1,400 per week, with bonuses and all major living expenses covered aboard. Travel, room and board, uniforms, and training are provided to crew members.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and US citizen or green card holder.
• Pre-employment drug testing including Marijuana; safety training required.

Responsibilities

• Handle lines, gangways, anchors, and marine equipment under Captain/Mate guidance.
• Perform daily exterior cleaning, line handling, and logistics support; standby helm watches.
• Stand gangway and deck watches for security, maintenance, and passenger assistance.
• Load/unload guest luggage, ship stores, and daily logistics tasks.
• Clean exterior decks, verandas, windows, furniture, and marine spaces.
• Wash, dry, and fold ship laundry.
• Maintain grooming and uniform standards.
• Be continually available to assist guests and crew.
• Rotate through day-night watch with ~12-hour shifts.
