American Cruise Lines is recruiting Deckhands for the 2026 season to work on our ships, ensuring safe and seamless voyages for guests. This temporary role spans up to 28 weeks, with a 12-hour daily schedule and on-board duties supporting crew operations.

Wages range from $1,000 to $1,400 per week, with travel, room and board, uniforms, and training provided. Must be 18+, a U.S. citizen or green card holder, and pass pre-employment drug testing; strict policies apply to alcohol and grooming.

Qualifications

• You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• American citizen or Green Card holder.

Responsibilities

• Handle lines, gangways, anchors, and marine equipment under supervision.
• Perform daily exterior cleaning, line handling, and logistic support tasks.
• Stand helm watches and assist Captain and Mate in steering the vessel.
• Load/unload guest luggage, ship stores, and daily logistics tasks.
• Clean exterior decks, verandas, windows, and marine spaces.
• Maintain grooming and uniform appearance; assist guests and crew as needed.
