Zusammenfassung

American Cruise Lines is seeking qualified Third Mates to join our fleet, supporting safe operations across inland and coastal waterways. Roles involve watch standing, vessel operations, and hands-on maintenance on 35ft-50ft launches, with focus on guest safety and five-star service.

Candidates must hold a US Coast Guard Master license with Near Coastal endorsement and TWIC, with 6+ months piloting experience on waterways. Travel, room, and meals are provided on board.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold US Coast Guard Master license with Near Coastal endorsement.
• TWIC credential required.
• Piloting and boat handling experience on coastal/river waterways (min 6 months, 1 year preferred).
• Pre-employment drug test and ongoing random testing required.
• Ability to live and work on board for extended periods.

Aufgaben

• Ensure safety and security of passengers, crew, and vessel.
• Safe launch operations in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Conduct daily inspections of vessel spaces.
• Standing helm, security, and watches in Deckhand rotation.
• Execution of vessel cleaning, sanitation, maintenance, and logistics.
• Standing piloting watches under instruction of Captain or Mate.
• Assist Engine Room Attendant with machinery and system maintenance.
• Support hotel and culinary teams in delivering five-star guest service.
• Maintain logs, reports, and administrative records.
• Maintain exemplary professional grooming and uniform appearance
