The role emphasizes compliant conversations under FDCPA guidelines and maintaining positive customer relationships to drive timely payments. The position involves coordinating with the Loan Servicing team, reviewing accounts across several systems, and helping customers regain ownership eligibility through structured payment options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in collections or financial services.
• Contact center experience in financial services preferred.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Collect past due payments and negotiate payment plans while maintaining goodwill.
• Create long-term solutions to help customers stay current and meet production goals.
• Contact customers about past-due balances (1-60 days).
• Educate and negotiate with customers to find workable payment options.
• Review accounts and process payments using multiple systems.
• Assist customers in regaining ownership eligibility using company resources.
• Reach out to delinquent customers as needed.
• Monitor repayment agreements and review accounts with automated systems.
• Assist with debt repayment plans, including modifications and deferments.
• Maintain positive relationships with the Loan Servicing team.
