OneMain Financial is seeking an Account Resolution Specialist in Evansville, IN to contact delinquent customers by phone and arrange repayment or settlements in accordance with laws and company policies. The role emphasizes negotiation, documentation, and meeting QA standards.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a proactive, compliant approach to debt resolution in a call center environment.

Qualifications

• Education - High School diploma or GED.
• In-depth understanding of collections and negotiation skills.
• Strong negotiation skills to resolve escalated calls.
• A high degree of self-management to successfully prioritize workday.
• Excellent communication, persuasion and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitive information.
• Preferred Collections / Call Center experience strongly preferred.
• Sales experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contact delinquent, charged-off customers to arrange repayment or settlement of balances.
• Initiate contact via telephone regarding charge-off accounts and arrange repayment/settlement.
• Negotiate with customers to resolve accounts.
• Maintain and notation of all relevant information on the computer system and share with team members involved in collections.
• Meet departmental call and QA standards and work towards production indicators.
• Maintain compliance with FDCPA and state regulations.
