Job summary

Fiserv is seeking a Consumer Debt Resolution Specialist in Florida to contact merchants, negotiate payment plans, and ensure compliance with debt collection laws. The role includes a Monday–Friday schedule with three onsite shifts and two late shifts, with remote work eligibility after 90 days for late shifts.

The position requires at least two years in customer service, experience in collections, and strong documentation skills. Knowledge of the CUBS system and MS Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of customer service experience, preferably in collections, call center, or sales.
• Knowledge of applicable debt collection laws.
• Proficiency with computer systems and database management.
• Strong work history with job stability.

Responsibilities

• Collect debts via telephone in a call center environment, manually or with an autodialer.
• Establish rapport with merchants to overcome objections and negotiate payment.
• Document all discussions and actions in a tracking system or database.
• Confirm payment arrangements and finalize calls.
• Recover overdue payments on accounts.
• Collaborate with debtors to establish repayment plans.
