Job summary

SECU is seeking a Debit Card Dispute Analyst to support members by processing non-fraud disputes within various applications. The role involves precise claim classification, resolving disputes, and ensuring compliance with Visa/Mastercard regulations.

Hybrid work arrangements in Raleigh, NC are available. Ideal candidates will have 2 years of debit card operations or related financial services experience and a preferred bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience in debit card operations, disputes, fraud, or financial services operations.

Responsibilities

• Validate claim classification accuracy and retrieve documentation as needed.
• Resolve routine and moderately complex member disputes and process reversals of provisional credit to member accounts.
• Analyze incidents requiring knowledge of multiple products or account types.
• Resolve cardholder liability based on investigation results.
• Manage the dispute process in compliance with Visa/Mastercard, federal and state rules and regulations.
• Review and respond to cardholder inquiries about the status of existing claims.
