Job summary

XTRA Lease, Inc. in Allentown, PA is seeking a Management Trainee to learn the ins-and-outs of our national trailer rental and leasing operation. You will develop customer service, fleet management, and vendor-relations skills while supporting daily operations across our branches.

Over 1–3 years, you will be mentored by experienced managers, gain exposure to sales, invoicing, and leadership tasks, and position yourself for future promotions within a Berkshire Hathaway-backed company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 4 years in customer-facing rental ops or outside sales.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience or 1–2 years in sales/BD roles.
• Willing to relocate out-of-state for promotion within 50 nationwide locations.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers and determine equipment needs and trailer rental options.
• Inspect trailers for damage or issues using handheld devices.
• Manage customer accounts, including credit and collections support.
• Verify customer insurance coverage and coordinate repairs with vendors.
• Use technology for inventories and equipment management.
• Travel occasionally to other branches and HQ for orientation and training.
