Job summary

Alexandria Motors is seeking an Office Administrator / Assistant Controller to support the dealership’s accounting and financial operations. The role focuses on daily accounting tasks, vendor management, and accurate financial record-keeping, working closely with the Controller.

The ideal candidate brings accounting or bookkeeping experience and a detail-oriented mindset, with proficiency in MS Office and a willingness to learn dealership-specific software.

Qualifications

• Accounting or bookkeeping experience is preferred.
• Accounts payable/receivable experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems is expected.
• Willingness to learn dealership accounting software and processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Controller with daily dealership accounting functions.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist with invoices, payments, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist with bank and general ledger reconciliations.
• Process and organize dealership accounting paperwork.
• Maintain vendor accounts and help resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end accounting processes.
• Support other accounting and administrative functions as needed.
