Job summary

North Central Finance Center in Troy, MI is seeking a Dealership Accountant I to support daily cash deposits and deal reconciliation. The role involves reviewing deals for accuracy, maintaining notes on discrepancies, and assisting with compliance tracking within the Accounting Processing Center.

You will collaborate with store teams and Business Managers to implement process improvements and ensure proper revenue recognition.

Qualifications

• Experience in a dealership environment preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily check and credit card deposits and assist with reconciling the cash sales accounting schedule.
• Review deals for accuracy and completeness using the Deal Checklist before submission to the Accounting Processing Center.
• Maintain notes on missing or incorrect items in the Booked and Pending report and support compliance tracking.
• Work with store teams and Business Managers to implement process changes and ensure revenue recognition.
• Help maintain reconciled accounting schedules as assigned by the Business Manager.
• Learn the Title & Registration Specialist role to support other accounting responsibilities when needed.
