Job summary

South Central Finance Center in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Dealership Accountant I to support on-site accounting operations.

You will handle service and warranty contracts, car purchases, lien payoffs, vendor invoices, and intercompany postings, collaborating with the Business Manager and accounting team. A High School Diploma and Excel proficiency are required; automotive industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year accounting experience; familiar with COA, debits and credits.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (entry to mid level).
• High School Diploma is required.
• 1+ year auto industry experience; retail sales or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Submission of Service Contracts
• Submission of Warranty Contracts
• New car purchases and Dealer trades
• Record used car purchases
• Request and process lien payoffs
• Process cash receipts
• Regional check runs
• Process and payment of vendor invoices
• FTC reconciliation
• Accounting for manufacturer monies (parts, warranty, incentives, misc)
• Post to Intercompany accounts
• Other responsibilities as assigned
