Job summary

Lithia & Driveway’s Suburban Honda of Farmington Hills accounting team is seeking an on-site Accounting Clerk. You will process cash deposits, reconcile sales, and review deals for accuracy. You’ll coordinate with store teams and managers to implement process improvements and ensure proper revenue recognition.

The role supports the APC in daily financial operations and offers growth opportunities within a Fortune 500 automotive retailer network. Strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a dealership environment or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft applications.
• High School diploma or equivalent, 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily check and credit card deposits and assist with reconciling the cash sales accounting schedule.
• Review deals for accuracy and completeness using the Deal Checklist before submission to the Accounting Processing Center.
• Maintain notes on missing or incorrect items in the Booked and Pending report and support compliance tracking.
• Work with store teams and Business Managers to implement process changes and ensure revenue recognition.
• Help maintain reconciled accounting schedules as assigned by the Business Manager.
• Learn the Title & Registration Specialist role to support other accounting responsibilities when needed.
