Position Summary:

This position is responsible for promoting and selling company products through Independent Dealers and Resellers. Responsibilities include:

  • Plans and organizes work, schedules sales calls and store visits, and submits reports of sales activities.
  • Builds and maintains displays of Mutual’s products at dealer locations and works closely with customer contacts in establishing and maintaining appropriate in-store inventory levels.
  • Conducts product demonstrations, trains customer sales personnel, and represents both Mutual Materials and dealer customers at professional trade shows.
  • Identifies prospective customers and compiles information on competitive products.
  • Provide support to the organization by ensuring that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Find and develop new customer accounts.
  • Consistently communicate with team members to share critical customer, project, and industry information.
  • This position involves setting up displays, working trade shows, and meeting with customers to provide product samples.
  • Regional travel is required.Will be provided monthly auto allowance to cover personal vehicle use expenses or assigned a company vehicle. Territory is NW Washington, Bellevue to Canadian border west of the mountains.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Industry experience, with a minimum of two years outside sales experience preferred. College degree, in Business or related study,a plus.
  • Proven success in working with a wide variety of customers and an established track record of positive customer relations.
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft applications: Excel and Word, with familiarity with Oracle highly desired.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle to travel to and from customer locations and local company locations as needed.
  • Must be well organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable in leading small group training sessions.
  • Previous work experience must emphasize a high level of customer service and excellent interpersonal skills with a diverse set of customers and co-workers.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, perform repetitive motions and work from a ladder.
  • Ability to work outside in all types of weather conditions.
