This is a remote position. Candidates must reside in Nevada, Arizona, or Washington. This is a salaried position with additional sales commission opportunity.

Our client has deep roots in the fire industry. They were founded by a 3rd generation retired California firefighter, and we know the Fire Family better than anyone!

Currently, we have an immediate opening for a Personal Lines Sales Agent. The Licensed Insurance Sales Representative is responsible for building and maintaining client relationships and policies in force. They promote the client's brand by visiting fire stations, conducting presentations, attending conferences, and/or events. They are a result-driven sales professional executing commercial sales strategies aligned with FIS’s strategic goals.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Providing legendary service by supporting clients and prospects, uncovering insurance needs, and educating on products & services, with a focus on commercial lines.
  • Conducting coverage reviews and recommending additional lines of insurance.
  • Developing business relationships by partnering with client team members to effectively cover and grow policies within designated regions.
  • Travel up to 20% of the time or as needed to visit fire stations, unions, attend community events, meetings, conferences, training, or other work-related activities.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with current and potential clients through visits and participation in events.
  • Participating in educational and marketing activities to increase awareness of insurance services and recommending suitable products to meet individual needs.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • Property/Casualty license and Health & Life license
  • Minimum 3 years of experience selling insurance policies
  • Public relations experience
  • Experience preparing and delivering presentations to groups
  • Knowledge of insurance agency practices and procedures
