Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent with two years of related experience or training.
• Broad knowledge of Deaf culture, ASL interpreting, and medical terminology in ASL and English.
• Progressive experience in medical interpretation within diverse organizations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and staff Deaf & Hard of Hearing interpretation and CART requests.
• Create and maintain accurate work orders and service documentation.
• Ensure interpreters meet client-specific compliance requirements.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, interpreters, and service providers.
• Respond to inquiries, provide assignment support, and escalate concerns as needed.
• Follow MasterWord communication, ISO, documentation, and escalation procedures.
• Support departmental recruitment initiatives and operational needs.
• Provide in-person and remote interpreting services as needed.
• Adhere to NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Participate in rotational after-hours/on-call support as scheduled.
• Meet applicable client vaccination and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrate MasterWord's core values and perform other duties as assigned.
