Job summary

Equipment & Controls, Inc. seeks a Field Service Engineer in Lawrence, PA to design, install, maintain and support our customers' control systems.

The role includes diagnosing hardware and software issues on Dell servers/workstations and troubleshooting DCS across network, workstation, and controller levels. The ideal candidate will have experience with DeltaV DCS and AMS Device Manager, possess strong hardware troubleshooting skills, and be able to travel regionally (PA, OH, WV).

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with DeltaV DCS and AMS Device Manager preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Windows and Dell computers; basic Windows Active Directory understood.
• Strong computer hardware troubleshooting skills and good communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, maintain, upgrade and support customer systems.
• Diagnose hardware/software issues on Dell servers/workstations; troubleshoot DCS at multiple levels.
• Perform preventative maintenance and participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
