Job summary

Tampa Electric Company is seeking a DCS Engineer or DCS Maint Specialist to troubleshoot and maintain the Station's DCS hardware and software across multiple sites. The role includes backing up logic, implementing new DCS logic, and coordinating with IT for cyber security compliance.

The position requires experience with GE Mark VI, RSLogix5000, and ABB/Bailey systems, plus strong knowledge of instrumentation controls and P&ID drawings. 24/7 readiness and safety compliance are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of instrumentation controls and devices, including PLCs and ESD systems.
• Experience with DCS, CAD/Electrical drawings, P&ID diagrams.
• Familiarity with cyber security related to plant control systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain DCS hardware and software.
• Implement/modify DCS logic and controls; support cyber security.
• Coordinate with IT for compliance and security.
• Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams.
