Qualifications

• Seven years of experience as a law enforcement officer.
• Three years of General Experience must have included criminal investigation.

Responsibilities

• Review documentation for accuracy and viability of proof beyond a reasonable doubt.
• Direct and supervise post-arrest investigative measures.
• Schedule and request follow-up records (medical reports, toxicology, ballistics).
• Interview victims and witnesses; assess credibility of testimony.
• Prepare reports, statements and affidavits; summaries for attorneys.
• Coordinate subpoenas and extradition requests; arrange transport and security as needed.
• Prepare witnesses for court; accompany attorney during trials.
• Supervise investigations as assigned; liaise with other agencies.
