Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Software Field Services Engineer to join the NAM Secure Power Software Services team. In this role, you will lead the deployment and support of Data Center Infrastructure Management software solutions, ensuring successful implementations and long-term customer success.

The position requires a strong technical foundation and direct engagement with customers. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting complex issues and maintaining high standards of service delivery. The role includes approximately 50% travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software deployment and troubleshooting in customer-facing environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, configuration, and commissioning of DCIM software solutions.
• Serve as the primary technical contact during implementations.
• Develop and maintain documentation for deployments and configurations.

Skills

Software deployment experience

Knowledge of DCIM tools

Networking fundamentals

Communication protocols (Modbus, SNMP)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

System integrations and APIs

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
