SanMar is seeking a DC Trainer to facilitate classroom and on-the-job training for Distribution Center staff. You will align training with strategic goals, develop materials, and schedule sessions to meet demand.

This role requires high attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will teach new hires and retraining for existing employees, ensuring safety and procedures are understood, while maintaining trainee records and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4-6 years of warehouse experience.
• Ability to read, write and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information.
• Demonstrated ability to follow directions and change priorities per business needs.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Strong communication skills to interact with groups of employees.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training programs to new and existing employees.
• Assist with development of training materials and maintain training documents.
• Coordinate training schedules with DC hiring and training demands.
• Communicate daily with leadership to execute training efforts.
• Conduct training sessions on OJT topics and refresher training.
• Assist employees with task performance issues and safety training.
• Maintain trainee records and reinforce company procedures.
• Support all warehouse areas and operate powered lift equipment if required.
