Job summary

JCG is seeking a Learning Lead to serve as the primary daily training resource for the assigned facility. You will coordinate training activities, support Department Trainers, monitor progress, and maintain training records while reinforcing established standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing, distribution, operations, training, or related environment preferred.
• Previous Trainer, Department Trainer, Team Lead, or similar experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to train and coach associates; LMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily training activities and trainer assignments.
• Communicate training priorities and schedule changes.
• Support orientation, onboarding, classroom, hands-on, and refresher training.
• Monitor associate training progress and escalate issues as needed.
• Adjust training activities with the Learning Coordinator.
• Provide coaching on training methods, documentation, and standards.
• Observe trainers and offer constructive feedback.
• Assist with trainer qualification and certification activities.
• Track new hire progress against milestones and support skills assessments.
• Maintain training records in the LMS and ensure accuracy.
• Support cross-training and retraining initiatives.
• Identify outdated materials and gaps; participate in continuous-improvement initiatives.
