Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a DC Operator II Lead to optimize product loading and lead a team of operators in a chilled distribution center. You will train staff on forklift operation, ensure order accuracy, and monitor performance to meet hourly targets while upholding Nestlé’s quality standards.

You will use EWM and SAP for inventory tracking, document quality checks, and support continuous improvement. A strong safety record and teamwork are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in a Distribution Center.
• Flexibility to work weekends/holidays/overtime.
• Experience with warehouse equipment including forklift.

Responsibilities

• Train operators to operate forklifts safely and efficiently in the order selection and loading processes.
• Train operators and complete and maintain forklift certification.
• Train operators use the Tablet Picking system for accurate loading onto delivery trucks.
• Prepare necessary documentation to ensure the highest quality finished product for customers.
• Maintain performance expectations and identify opportunities for improving distribution center operations.
• Recognize and address waste within the distribution center to develop action plans for continuous improvement.
• Learn and proficiently use inventory and tracking systems such as EWM and SAP.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers, share ideas openly, provide feedback, and train new employees when required.
• Ensure safe practices, follow corporate safety guidelines, and address unsafe conditions proactively.
• Maintain high housekeeping and safety compliance.
