Job summary

XL Parts and The Parts House (TPH) in Birmingham, AL seeks a Distribution Center Team Lead to oversee daily department activities and guide Warehouse Team Members as a player-coach.

The role focuses on improving safety, quality, cost, delivery and morale; you will train, coach, delegate tasks, ensure policy compliance, troubleshoot with RF scanners and the computer system, and drive KPI results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience leading or supervising warehouse teams.
• Proficient with RF scanners and warehouse software.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide performance feedback to team members.
• Train, coach, motivate, and guide assigned Team Members.
• Delegate tasks and coordinate workflow within the department.
• Achieve and exceed KPI goals.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Serve as subject matter expert and process owner for the department.
• Assist with various warehouse functions as needed (picking, packing, receiving, stocking, loading, unloading, inventory control).
