Job summary

Tireco-Distributors is seeking a Distribution Center Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a team in Purvis, MS. You will coach staff, ensure safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance across all tasks, and collaborate with management and customers.

The role requires forklift operation, driving credentials, and strong leadership, communication, and math skills to drive efficiency and service levels.

Qualifications

• 2+ years warehouse operations experience.
• 2+ years forklift experience.
• Possess a valid standard driver's license; some states may require Class D.
• MeetDOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical; be 21+ and willing to cross state lines for deliveries.
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy.
• Leadership and communication skills.
• Strong math and analytical skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the distribution center operations and daily activities.
• Lead team members in daily assignments and ensure accuracy of work.
• Audit completed assignments for quality and compliance.
• Coach and train team members on processes, procedures, and safety.
• Operate equipment such as forklift to pull orders, replenish stock, and load containers.
