Job summary

Johnstone Supply, a leading HVACR distributor, seeks a Distribution Shipping Supervisor to manage daily shipping operations, ensure accurate and on-time product delivery, and uphold safety standards across the team. The role requires supervising staff, coordinating with carriers, and enforcing SOPs.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in warehouse supervision, forklift certification, and a focus on process improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3+ years related experience or training.
• 1 year minimum leading in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain on the job.

Responsibilities

• Directs the Distribution Shipping department to ensure Right Product at the Right Time and in the Right Condition.
• Maintain safety by coaching staff, removing hazards, and participating in Safety Committee.
• Oversee hiring, training, and performance reviews of department staff.
• Monitor reports to meet performance standards and budgets; take corrective actions.
• Communicate daily warehouse staffing and coordinate with distribution center staff.
• Ensure end-of-day system close-out and proper equipment checks.
