Job summary

OAP Transportation, LLC is seeking drivers to operate a commercial Class 8 tractor-trailer, delivering to store locations daily. Expect home daily, a 5-day work week with no weekends, and a compensation package including bonuses and benefits.

Responsibilities include safe loading/unloading with pallet jacks and lift gates, route adherence, daily inspections, and FMCSA compliance. Candidates must hold a CDL-A with Hazmat and pass screenings.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests and maintain a clean MVR.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, logbook, and vehicle inspections.
• Ability to work flexible hours and follow scheduled routes.

Potential first year earnings of $94,675.67 based upon average route hours; actual annual earnings may vary based upon length of route. Operate a class 8 tractor-trailer providing safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries to store locations as part of our company fleet. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Operate a commercial Class 8 tractor-trailer to complete safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries in compliance with DOT and company regulations. Utilize electric pallet jacks and lift gates to load, unload, and deliver merchandise to designated store locations. Follow assigned routes, stops, and schedules to ensure efficient deliveries within set timeframes. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain Hours of Service (HOS) logs, and comply with FMCSA regulations. Secure all loads, vehicle doors, and alarms before and after each stop; ensure proper delivery verification and manage returned merchandise. Assist with various delivery routes as needed to support operational requirements.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES

• Working knowledge of DOT regulations, logbook, and vehicle inspections
• Maintain a clean MVR and a valid DOT physical status
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol tests
• Must possess a current Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement
• Must maintain the ability to work flexible hours
