Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Class A CDL driver to operate a tractor-trailer for route deliveries to store locations. You will load with pallet jacks, follow designated routes and schedules, and ensure safe, accurate deliveries in compliance with DOT regulations.

This home-daily role offers a five-day work week with no weekends and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with company contributions starting Day One.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of DOT regulations, logbook, and vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a clean MVR and a valid DOT physical status.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol tests.
• Must possess a current Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
• Must maintain the ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial Class 8 tractor-trailer to complete safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
• Utilize electric pallet jacks and lift gates to load, unload, and deliver merchandise to designated store locations.
• Follow assigned routes, stops, and schedules to ensure efficient deliveries within set timeframes.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain Hours of Service (HOS) logs, and comply with FMCSA regulations.
• Secure all loads, vehicle doors, and alarms before and after each stop; ensure proper delivery verification and manage returned merchandise.

Potential first year earnings of $77,269.40 based upon average route hours; actual annual earnings may vary based upon length of route.

Operate a class 8 tractor-trailer providing safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries to store locations as part of our company fleet.

Essential Job Functions
