Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is looking for a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our rapidly expanding practice of plaintiff's personal injury lawyers and supporting staff in our downtown Washington, DC offices.

The Litigation Attorney will handle motor vehicle liability cases, including trial preparation, depositions, settlements and in-court trials, representing plaintiff clients in Virginia, DC and Maryland. Our team provides a large case staff, dedicated paralegal, and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Law degree from ABA-accredited school.
• Active bar license in DC, Maryland, or Virginia; Virginia preferred.
• Ideally 2+ years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases and take them to trial.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of motor vehicle accident cases in Northern Virginia, DC and/or Maryland.
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Guide plaintiff clients through the case process.
• Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits.
• Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances for plaintiffs.
