Job summary

Morgan & Morgan in Baltimore is seeking a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to handle motor vehicle liability cases, including trial prep, depositions, settlements and in-court proceedings for plaintiffs in VA, DC and MD.

The ideal candidate has a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, is admitted to the DC, MD or VA bar (Virginia preferred), and has 2+ years of PI litigation experience with strong writing, advocacy, and client-service skills.

Qualifications

• Active bar membership in DC, Maryland or Virginia (Virginia preferred).
• Ideally 2+ years of PI litigation experience (motor vehicle / MVA).
• Ability to manage high-volume litigation and take cases to trial.
• Excellent client service and communication skills; strong writing and advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of motor vehicle accident cases in Northern Virginia, District of Columbia and/or Maryland.
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, demands, motions and memoranda of law.
• Guide plaintiff clients through the case process.
• Interaction with expert witnesses including conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits.
• Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances for plaintiffs.
