J.Crew Group's Lynchburg distribution center seeks a Distribution Center Operations Supervisor to provide motivational leadership, guide hourly associates, and resolve associate concerns with fairness and focus.

You will monitor staffing levels, supervise merchandise flow, coordinate daily processing, and oversee budgets and payroll while coaching team members for supervisor potential. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within our operate-and-deliver culture.

Formación

• A two-year or four-year College Degree in management, business administration or related study, or two to five years of related field experience.
• Prior supervisory experience in a Distribution Center environment.
• Experience with implementing a new WMS is preferred.
• Knowledge of distribution operations and merchandise flow.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor staff levels to ensure merchandise flow and meet deadlines.
• Ensure merchandise flow within department to maximize throughput.
• Coordinate daily department processing under direct supervision.
• Monitor budgets and payroll information (Earned/Burned).
• Coach, train and promote associates with supervisor potential.
• Evaluate direct reports' performance with mid-year and year-end reviews.
• Provide timely and accurate feedback to direct reports.
• Maintain associate records (time statements, PTO and attendance).
• Keep open lines of communication with associates.
• Contribute cost-saving ideas on a continuous basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager/Director.
