JCG in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a Senior Manager, Distribution Center Operations to lead high-volume eCommerce DC operations. You will oversee a team of Operations Managers and Supervisors, ensuring safety, service, productivity, inventory accuracy, and financial performance.

The role focuses on operational excellence, talent development, and cross-functional partnership to meet business objectives and drive accountability across shifts and departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in distribution, fulfillment, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
• 5+ years leading exempt leaders, including Operations Managers and Supervisors.
• Experience leading large-scale eCommerce, Retail, or omnichannel fulfillment operations.
• Strong knowledge of WMS, LMS, automation, and distribution center technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end DC operations including receiving, inventory, replenishment, fulfillment, and shipping.
• Deliver results against safety, service, productivity, quality, inventory, and cost metrics.
• Manage labor planning, staffing, and resource allocation to support demand and peak periods.
• Use data to identify performance gaps, drive corrective actions, and report to senior leadership.
• Drive consistent execution across shifts and departments.
