DHL eCommerce is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the distribution center during the shift, supporting the business plan with timely mailings and cost-effective operations.

Responsibilities include managing production, quality, and transportation, coaching supervisors and staff, and ensuring performance evaluations and high morale. The role requires leadership, analytics, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, related field preferred or related work experience.
• 5 years of experience in a supervisory/management role required.
• Experience with MS Office, excellent Excel skills.
• Lean Experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage production, quality, and transportation to optimize profitability.
• Coach Operations Supervisors and hourly staff.
• Conduct and ensure timely performance evaluations.
• Maintain staff morale and retention.
• Coordinate weekly operations plans to process customer volume.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance; liaise with USPS.
