Job summary

At Home Group Inc. in Plano is seeking a Distribution Supervisor for the second shift (2 PM–11 PM) to lead a busy DC. The role focuses on safety, culture, and operational efficiency while meeting organizational objectives.

You will manage 3–5 Supervisors and 100–150 Team Members/temps, optimize staffing, and drive process improvements using WMS, MHS, and YMS. Strong leadership, communication, and cost-conscious decisions are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in distribution leadership in a supervisory position.
• College degree preferred.
• Strong background in supply chain systems (WMS, MHS, YMS).
• Demonstrated leadership ability, with the ability to engage, motivate, and develop others.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, as business requires.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure KPI targets for safety, culture, operational efficiencies, and objectives.
• Identify actions to improve DC safety, engagement, productivity, and reduce expenses.
• Lead 3-5 Supervisors and 100-150 Team Members/temps.
• Implement all company policies, procedures, and Team Member safety.
• Optimize staffing by area to maximize efficiency and reduce cost.
• Identify priority of trailer unloads to maximize efficiency and reduce detention fees.
• Oversee DC trailer yard to keep it fluid.
• Coach, train, and develop distribution employees with real-time feedback.
• Foster a team-oriented environment with Supervisors and Team Members that engages staff.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds required
