Job summary

Vallen is hiring a Distribution Center Operations Coordinator in Smyrna, Tennessee. The role focuses on supporting daily warehouse and order fulfillment operations, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and coordinating inventory, shipping, and order workflows.

The position requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure timely resolution of issues, accurate order processing, and adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or relevant clerical experience.
• Proficiency in Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint.
• Strong planning, organizational and execution skills.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to build relationships with coworkers and management.

Responsibilities

• Research and address all submitted DC inquiries and follow up for timely completion.
• Take calls and emails from customers and collaborators to address questions.
• Track shipping errors, inventory adjustments and non-conformances for reporting.
• Operate warehouse power equipment and be certified to resolve issues.
• Attend and track Distribution Center attendance and leaves.
• Process and resolve non-conforming orders on exceptions.
• Review must ships and priority shipments for expediting and completion.
• Maintain daily orders in the order management system.
