Job summary

ID Logistics US in Smyrna, TN seeks a General Manager to lead a high-volume, automated distribution and fulfillment operation in a food-grade environment. You will drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance while leveraging automation and data analytics.

You will build and lead cross-functional teams, set strategic direction, manage budgets, and partner with customers to ensure service excellence. Monday–Friday onsite with travel up to 25% and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in high-volume distribution, fulfillment, or manufacturing.
• Experience leading automated facilities with P&L responsibility and performance metrics.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse technology, automation, and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-volume automated distribution and fulfillment operation to meet customer, financial, service, safety, and productivity goals.
• Develop operational strategies to improve throughput, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment.
• Provide leadership across receiving, warehousing, inventory control, and shipping.
• Drive safety, food safety, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Balance labor planning with automation capabilities to meet demand.
• Monitor KPIs for safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.
• Communicate results and drive continuous improvement with customers and stakeholders.
