Job summary

HDT is seeking a Continuous Improvement leader to drive lean manufacturing across the facility, lead CI projects, and train production teams. The role focuses on eliminating waste and implementing CI programs that boost efficiency and quality.

Five years in manufacturing with Lean and Six Sigma experience is required; strong data-analysis skills are essential. Travel up to 30% may be required. ITAR/EAR considerations apply for access to restricted data.

Qualifications

• BS/BA from accredited school preferred or equivalent experience and training.
• Five years of experience in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma and related process-improvement methodologies.
• Ability to facilitate improvement workshops with key stakeholders.
• Change agent with credibility and influence in the organization.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Develops a clear Continuous Improvement Strategy with site leadership.
• Analyzes data and processes for lead time, cost, waste, quality and productivity gains.
• Proposes and leads CI projects to achieve benefits.
• Creates CI project plans with roles and responsibilities.
• Partners with leaders to ensure timely implementation of improvements.
• Provides lean/CI training for production teams.
• Leads Operational Excellence initiatives (Kanban, flow, Value Stream Mapping, etc.).
• Sustains gains from lean efforts with value stream teams.
