Job summary

The Home Depot DC Area Supervisor will lead an hourly team and influence the distribution center to run efficiently, safely, and productively. You will manage 20 to 30 hourly associates and oversee hiring, evaluation, development, discipline and termination processes.

Key responsibilities include enforcing procedures, coaching for performance, driving inventory accuracy, and planning staffing to meet metrics in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and legally allowed to work in the United States.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
• Ability to relocate.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead an hourly team to run distribution center operations.
• Hire, evaluate, develop, discipline, and terminate hourly associates.
• Ensure prompt, efficient, and accurate handling of merchandise.
• Develop and implement team goals and continuous improvement.
• Monitor safety, productivity, and quality; coach associates.
