Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking an Area Manager to lead a hourly workforce, uphold safety, quality, and performance, and drive customer-focused operations across a multi-store environment. You will mentor teams, use KPIs to improve throughput and service, and collaborate with other departments to meet business goals.

This role emphasizes leadership, accountability, and the delivery of measurable results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment with 2 years in lead/management.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), preferably SAP.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage labor, safety, and quality metrics.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate a hourly workforce.
• Lead safety, quality, and productivity to satisfy customers.
• Evaluate performance and complete employee reviews.
• Collaborate with teams to meet business objectives.
• Define roles and priorities for the workforce.
