Job summary

Genuine Parts Company’s NAPA operation seeks a General Manager of Operations to lead the distribution center’s management team in a fast-paced setting. The role emphasizes safety, leadership, and operational excellence, with responsibility for route maps, objectives, and achieving plans, performance, and budgets while coordinating across functions.

You will foster a safety-first culture, coach leaders, and apply Lean/Six Sigma to drive efficiency and continuous improvement across the DC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years in distribution/fulfillment operations.
• Strong leadership, communication and people-management skills.
• Experience driving P&L, budgeting and cost control in a DC environment.
• Proven track record with Lean/Six Sigma process improvements.
• Willing to relocate and adapt in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, and develops DC salaried and hourly teams.
• Develops staffing plans and production schedules to optimize throughput.
• Maintains safe work practices and a safe work environment as top priority.
• Oversees DC P&L and collaborates with managers to meet targets.
• Leads process improvements and network projects to reduce cost and boost efficiency.
• Partners with senior leadership to standardize processes across the network.
