Job summary

Optimas OE Solutions in Columbus, IN is seeking an Operations Manager to lead and manage a distribution center with 3 direct reports and 40 indirect reports across 3 shifts. You will drive end-to-end operations including receiving, warehousing, packing, shipping, inventory, quality and safety, coach teams, manage budgets and P&Ls, and advance continuous improvement with KPIs.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in warehouse or distribution leadership, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and experience

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in warehouse or distribution management.
• Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint; experience with a WMS required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the DC operations across receiving, warehousing, packing and shipping.
• Manage 3 shifts and 3 direct reports with 40 indirect reports; set expectations and coach.
• Own budgeting and P&L for the DC and drive continuous improvement using KPIs.
• Ensure quality and safety compliance; coordinate with HR for people management.
• Recruit and develop a motivated workforce.
