Job summary

Mattress Firm Inc. is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to support the distribution center’s daily operations, supervise team members, and help meet financial objectives.

You will ensure processes align with safety standards and drive continuous improvement to deliver world-class service to customers and internal teams. The role requires a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) and 2+ years of related experience; knowledge of warehouse operations and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 2+ Years related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in efficient day-to-day operations of the distribution center.
• Contribute to meeting financial objectives of the DC compared to budget.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the DC.
• Facilitate safety policies and procedures adherence.
• Verify driver payroll for accuracy.
• Conduct required cycle counts and correct discrepancies.
