Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center Area Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations in Savannah, GA, directing a team of associates in shipping/receiving while ensuring safety and adherence to company policies.

The role requires leadership in a high-volume environment, engagement initiatives, and strong use of WMS and reporting tools. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with at least 3 years in similar leadership roles and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred or combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years’ experience leading in a high-volume distribution environment
• Management/leadership experience in a supply chain distribution center environment
• Experience implementing employee engagement, mentoring/coaching and development initiatives
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Warehouse Management Systems preferred
• Able to read and interpret necessary policies and procedures to perform updates and operate systems and other programs within the Distribution Center
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to access all areas of the Distribution Center, including the Mezzanine platforms
• Bi-lingual a plus
