Job summary

Hot Topic seeks an Inventory Support Supervisor for its Riverside Distribution Center. The role oversees cycle counting, transfers, QC/RTV pulls, and aging inventory, reporting to the Inventory Operations Manager. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8:30am–5:30pm with overtime during Peak periods.

The supervisor leads a team of 1 Lead and 5 associates, trains staff, responds to PO updates, and ensures accurate daily distribution center operations, safety compliance, and timely tasks completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• At least 2 years’ experience supervising 20+ people in a fulfillment/warehouse setting.
• Inventory control experience a plus.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan, Red Prairie, HighJump).
• Ability to lead and develop people in a team environment.
• Strong Excel, Word, Outlook skills; working with WMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Inventory Support department at Riverside DC.
• Supervise the Inventory Team (1 Lead & 5 associates) and ensure daily procedures.
• Conduct training classes and provide instruction for associates.
• Respond to PO updates, cycle counts, and inventory inquiries promptly.
• Research aging inventory and ensure timely putaway or processing.
• Monitor accuracy and coach staff to meet goals; reconcile counts and inventories.
