Job summary

Hot Topic & BoxLunch in Riverside, CA is seeking an Inventory Support Supervisor for our distribution center to maintain inventory accuracy and drive our cycle count program. You will supervise the Inventory Support department, oversee cycle counts, transfers, aging inventory, and reconcile adjustments while partnering with the Operations Manager of Inventory to meet daily distribution goals.

You will also train a team of 1 Team Lead and 5 associates, monitor safety, and ensure timely responses

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 2+ years supervising 20+ people in a fulfillment or DC.
• Inventory control experience a plus.
• Experience with WMS systems (Manhattan, Red Prairie, Highjump).
• Able to lead and develop people; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Inventory Support team (1 Team Lead & 5 associates) and daily procedures.
• Conduct training and provide instruction for associates.
• Respond to PO updates, cycle count progress, and inventory inquiries promptly.
• Research aging inventory to ensure timely putaway or processing.
• Monitor accuracy against goals and coach associates accordingly.
• Oversee cycle counts reconciliation and annual physical inventories.
• Foster teamwork, collaboration and open communication.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and enforced.
• Monitor daily staff to complete DC tasks on a day-to-day plan.
• Provide daily observations for coaching and feedback.
