Job summary

Hot Topic is seeking an Inventory Control Manager for our Riverside Distribution Center. You will oversee inventory control, cycle counts, and data-driven improvements across multiple sites to support online fulfillment orders and customer satisfaction.

You will collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Customer Service to develop metrics, test system upgrades, and identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring accurate inventory and annual physical counts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in fulfillment center or warehouse/distribution center supervising 20+ people.
• Experience with multiple small parcel carriers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inventory control and cycle count programs align with Finance and client expectations across sites.
• Develop reporting metrics for Finance and Operations regarding cycle count and cancellation results.
• Keep Finance and Operations updated on cycle count results and trends.
• Assist in testing and rollout of fulfillment system upgrades or new packages.
• Collect, organize and evaluate data to identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve customer service.
• Identify trends affecting fulfillment processes to raise quality and satisfaction.
• Work with Operations and sites to drive efficiencies, accountability and productivity.
• Coordinate with Clients and conduct annual physical inventories.
